Start your core work with medicine balls side to side. If a medicine ball is too heavy, start with a volleyball or a basketball. This is great work for the core area in rotational movement.
Let us go for foot throws. Here we want to throw the medicine ball through a partner or even against the wall but after I throw the ball I want to land in a good athletic position.
Now let us work on stabilizing our core in a good athletic position by just doing some medicine ball pass. Load and get set and stay there.
That was to a chest pass for the quarter jump. This can even be done with a 180 or a 360. We are just going to focus on the quarter jump quick with good athletic positioning. Focus on movement from the hips.
Let us add a greater degree of difficulty by doing single leg. This is going to help our balance or proprioception as well as our stabilization and balance for a good athletic skill. We will start with the right leg and then move to our left leg.
