Melissa's Son and His Daily Chores
Hi! My name is Melissa. I’d like to share with my nine month old son Logan did laundry with me. It was probably one of the cutest moments that he’s had yet because he was just learning how to sit up a little bit on his own kind of unsupported. And so, I put him in the laundry basket. As soon as I put him in there, he was just trying to sit up and making funny faces and he was just absolutely adorable. So, I had my camera right on the kitchen table. So, I used a digital camera to take pictures of him in there.
I wish his father, my husband was involved and also, my sister, his aunt; being there for almost everything and that’s one of the things that they missed. I discovered the Fisher-Price Moment to Share Facebook App on CafeMom. I'm already on Facebook, so I just downloaded the app and I just entered my name and my son’s name and I immediately started uploading photos directly from my Facebook photo albums.
You're able to upload two or three at a time and it’s really nice to just see them all in chronological order like that on the timeline. I can put in the date that everything happened, so I don’t forget. It was just the beginning of the month or it was just the end of the month. I think it’s actually going to be great as he starts to grow because I can look back and see him as this tiny newborn and then growing into sitting and then standing, eventually walking. So, it would be so nice to look back and just basically watch him grow.
The most important thing about preserving and sharing my family’s moments is that not all of my family lives close by. Taking digital photos, I'm able to share it with family members that otherwise would have missed out on the last nine months of his life.
