Miami Cocktail Recipe

Miami Cocktail Recipe Elad: Hi, my name is Elad. Gabe: My name is Gabriel. We have a company called Bar Lab. Elad: We’ve been mixing cocktails in Miami Beach for over a decade. Gabe: In Miami Beach has a Cocktail Culture of Design. Elad: And we are to show you what it’s all about. Gabe: It is in Miami Beach Cocktail Culture. So this one cocktail is called the Miami Cocktail. It’s different than in Miami Beach cocktail that has never a mint, crème de menthe and lemon. So it’s very old school also and very simple to do. So we’re going to start with some rum, and then we’re going to use crème de menthe, some lemon. Elad: Fresh lemon juice. Gabe: Now, we’re just going to stir this and we’re just going to stir this drink. Elad: So it’s going to be super refreshing cocktail. I get citrus cinnamon. Gabe: Yeah, it has the mint so it brings all again at Miami flavor into your glass. Elad: Uh, you want stir it Gabe. Gabe: We’ll going to serve it in an old fashion glass. We just keep it old fashion. We’re just going to stir it nice, we’re just going to strain it, and that’s the Miami Cocktail. Elad: Well, perfect Gabe. Now, let me do my twist on it, actually the bottle up twist on it and my twist going to start with some fresh mint. Gabe: Nice, I like that fresh mint some of the crème de menthe. Elad: Yeah. Of course man. Gabe: It’s good, that’s good. Elad: Then like the lime juice and I’m going to use gin. Gabe: And gin is going to bring some other like flavors other than mint and the lemon. Elad: Sure, I’m going to use one and a half ounce of gin actually. Should I make a two? Gabe: Maybe two, make it strong. Elad: So I’m going to shake everything up now. Gabe: You want to serve it in high glass. Elad: I want to serve it a high bowl. Gabe: Sure. Elad: Strain it. Now, and I would love to some Miami bitters, just a drop. Gabe: Very nice.
