Now you may notice that they are not exactly lined up where they should be. So my next task is to get all of these lined up so that they match the positioning in my tracing image.
Let me start by selecting the first one. Remember if you are having trouble selecting the layer instead of the image, you can use the breadcrumb trail and now you can move layers using drag and drop, but you can also move them simply by using the arrow keys. I am adjusting this one by a little arrow to the left, a little arrow down and that looks pretty good.
Now that I have that one where I want it, again, let me make sure that a layer is selected. I can look in my CSS properties. Now you can see this layer is 107 pixels below the top of the page. If I set all of the other layers to be that same distance from the top, they should all line up perfectly. So let us select the next one. Again, make sure I have got the layer selected, come over here and from the top, I want this to be 107.
Now with the space set from the top precisely by the CSS properties, I can use the arrow keys, put the div selected to adjust that a little over to the left so that it lines up perfectly with my tracer image underneath.
Let us do that again for this one. Again, select the div, set it to 107, hit Return, make sure it is selected and use my arrow keys to adjust it. So this should help you appreciate the power of down to the pixel design control that you got from layers.
