Hi, this is a software video review from softwareslant.com and today I'm going to review a personal finance package that is called Microsoft Money 2007. Now there's a newer version 2008 that was on the Microsoft website. Put this application on you and so I'm going to review it just now.
Now the program is very easy to seat up and has a wizards along the way to help you on your personal apply them suppose, okay. And this is the screen of for my personal information but to make easier I'll go and create a new money file and I place on desktop call on to that, okay. Okay now, this is the wizard data that let you define all of your settings and everything from my use of money and you actually need the windows live ID to get into money, okay.
Okay, so if you'll already have windows live ID you can just use that and if you don’t there's an option that actually let you set up over in those live ID which is a Microsoft Windows Live ID that you're going to send to back up your information to the website to my personal purposes. So when you sign in with your Window Live ID I'll go to the or you can create a new window so once you have that you'll go to the next screen where you can set up all your accounts and everything, okay.
So first of all you probably need to have a banking account and this where you can choose from all the banks that the program supports and actually if you the program supports to your bank or credit union then you can actually download all the financial statements from the bank to show you direction to money so do you don’t have to reconcile all your balances and your transactions or many of deal, okay. Now if your bank is not listed you have the option of using a different bank, okay or creating a new one so account name to checking account and this is the amount you have and this is the amount that’s the current balance of the account, okay.
Now, once you do that you can add another account like credit card account, okay. And let say it’s a credit card that’s with the company now you can define all of that let's say you're $5740.00 and use US dollars on it or any other current US dollar, okay or you can choose Euro if you're in the Euro own country, okay. As you set that, okay and then you specifies the credit card or it’s the chart card and if you want to be the old the balance and each once you can actually click this and then you'll have the option to be the full balance on each month. Those are the interest rate, that is an introductory rate, when is it filed until okay and then—okay.
Permanent try is 18th and introduction rate is zero percent what's the total accredit limit on this $45,000.00 you want to alter the balance. Okay, if you click on auto balance you don’t have to enter and do because actually it was that balance that whole account if you don’t and you wanted to add a bill to the calendar. Okay, so this is where you'll set up when you want to pay this built. Now if just add you miles per points and if we can file things you can actually check that else where.
Now, once you have that you can set up all your accounts, your credit cards and then you can actually go ahead and set up all your bills and your wages, okay. So here if you click New, you can actually add a new bill or you can add a new and if besides other terms then you can have a bill calendar and if you—exactly that never change. Now, just to make it easier I will actually—okay. What I'll do is actually that desk file and now just goes through my different to my account, okay. So this is my savings account and this is the large amounts are making for this particular one and it is really a very easy to do a lot and transfer all the transactions on did, okay.
And then, you can see all kinds of cash flow transactions, cash flow forecast and everything else and this is how it look like so over the next 30 days, the next 12 months, okay. So If I'll continue pending where I have now which is how much I'll have in my credit account and that doesn’t include my other accounts, my savings account and all that. And the program has a lot of reports like SS liabilities spending by category, spending by month all the month comparison and what you're spending now which is the last month you can track various category so you have it on your main screen if you want like how much you spend it for patrol or for growth risk or whatever you want then it’s really, really, really cool like that and it’s a really cool personal software package and elsewhere videos and all the help that you need that comes with the program so I suggest it to anyone that want to check their finances.
Okay, this is has been a software video review from softwareslant.com and good luck.
