Doing well, I received the ton of questions about Microsoft word. People are looking for some more detail when I went in to in my year of office. So I’ll go ahead and do that for you guys. And again this is Microsoft word 2008. So I’m going to go ahead and open up for you. So what it does it pulls up the blank document and it shows such a very different than office 2007. You guys may be using it looks more similar to office 2003. Doesn’t have the ribbons at 2007. So to talk, you got your typical file information, print, print preview, all your edits stuff paste copy, copy scrapbook. Different views, refers to your toolbox.
So I’ll show you guys in minute, things you can insert. It really inserts anything its very cool-pictures, HTML that you embedded. So if you have a bad code from you tube, actually paste right in there in the video show up. So you need water marks or anything you want or your formatting stuff is there. Choose your fonts it actually shows you what the fonts look like in text. You accept the guess or slight the one and type to see. Some more tools, the source the dictionary, track changes or your table information window or help. Over here, this is called your toolbox, I’ll open it for you guys here and what it has is all your main controls and put it in a real easy place for you.
This is my font box here. So I’ve got bold, italized strike through, font color, high light or right stuff. Styles, I can choose it styles, alignment and spacing, horizontal or like kind of stuff. Bullets and numbering choose your bullets, if you want to indent left or right. Borders and shadings results may vary as well. Margins control your margins, document theme, you can choose to the themes. Now one really nice feature that word 2008 for Mac hands is drizzle bar right across the top here. Anyway I does you click it, opens so stripe here that gives you really easy to use templates. So as you cover pages in the first one here, title and different color pages selected and I can peak one and it will open up for you.
Something in the table of contents, headers as well and footers everything you guys need to write a paper and the bibliography. Quick tables same thing, I list it more tables and if designs you might like and using on is just easy as clicking it and it will shade it guys in minute. We used a tonic charts, look at that unbelievable and it can even get this kind of chart. Feel the radar and maturation. Graphics you guys can do org charts or hierarchies, we got it all right here. All hierarchy lists, target lists, pure mid lists and word art to actually reduced apart with the actual text itself, it’s very handy. So let’s go back to all and the document elements, put the color pages I’ll speak one for you. So let’s say I want to use this one as my cover page like to plot it, showing up right here and I can just click it and type whatever I want, nice and easy.
Quick tables, insert quick tables, charts and again all itself. So really makes it nice and handy. So I mean and do my printer. Anyway, it’s just a general overview guys where it is just like word on a Mac. Anything you type on your Mac and you send to a PC, open up that any trouble, and vice versa, if you save something on a Mac and wanting to open it up in window that will be the same. It’s totally cross plat form, which make things just much easier. And I cant speak anything for neo-office, neo-office has a version to use but again guys anything that you are trying to do on a PC and word will work well with word 2008, no trouble and go back the other way.
