The reason why looking at the light when you have migraine headache intensify the pain is because one of the origin of the pain in the migraine headache is at it what we call a face of dilation meaning the brain blood cell dilate and cause low pain dilate.

So when you saying that put have burden on the vessels again themselves like listening to noise or looking at light will intensify the pain significantly.
