Male: The eight poses of empowerment are eight various special poses designed of imbalance into your life. Where do they come from, I woke up one night with these poses in my head and worked on them, refined them, and presented them in the first millennium stretch program. Since then they have been published worldwide and you made notice some slight variations and just go with it, enjoy them for what they are and adapt if you like to suit your body. Grounding, centering, lifting, embracing, balancing, expanding, returning, and releasing. Beginning with a nice deep inhale up exhaling slowly down and to pose one, grounding. Inhaling up, energy up to the lower chakras and centering.
Lifting, anything is possible to release and turn into embracing. Hand over the chest, balancing, standing on one leg focusing your energy down and hands at the small of the back, knees bent, expanding, sternum or breast bone opening up toward the sky slowly easing your way down, returning. Elbows above the knees and fingertips at the forehead, slowly rolling up releasing and beginning again exhaling down, grounding, you really feel your feet, your legs, your hips inhaling up, lots of energy in centering. Slowly coming up lifting, this time we are going to turn and embrace the other side with hand on the chest and back hand on the small of the back, fingers down. Slowly balancing on the opposite leg rear leg lifts up for the energy between your hands and slowly opening up again expanding the sternum lifting up. Hip relaxed in back easily.
Easing your way down, elbows above knees and fingertips to the forehead with your tail bone dropped down and back slowly coming up releasing all cares and concerns. Congratulations, you just completed the eight poses of empowerment.
Before affirmation poses can be done any time anywhere. Pose one, strength. Release the clenched fist, self appreciation, feel that all they way to the core of your being reaching out vulnerable, loving, giving, creating, and otherwise what is the point. Lao Tzu says do your work and step back, the only path to serenity.
