Hi! This is Sherman Hu from shermanlive.com with another short video in a video series about mind mapping. This is my mind map provided by the personal brain and mind mapping software by TheBrain.com and I want to show you a very, very cool and effective view option provided by this personal brain software. If you go to the Options tab at the top, View sub-tab, you will see the sub sub-tabs as Normal View, Distant Thoughts View and Expanded View.
So, let me show you that this is my H.O. T. Blueprint traffic mind map. And if I want to expand it into a Distant Thought View, I can click on Distant Thoughts and it will expand the thoughts making it a little more flat in a view. So, if I want to go in the Expanded Thought, let me go ahead and click on Expanded and as you could see it expands it all and it is very fun and dynamic way to see your mind map.
Now, this gives you – this button or at the toolbar here gives you an easy one click button to change from Normal to Distant to Expanded. So, you have it, a real handy feature here in the Toolbar. And how this will come-in handy is if you do not want to see your mind map with the Normal tree hierarchy where you would have to click into a thought to see the sub-thoughts and to see the sub sub-thoughts. You can, you know, easily use the expand view in the Distant Thought view to flatten your view and you can of course click on any of these thoughts to see the sub-thoughts also or to see it in a flat way.
So, this feature I find very, very cool and efficient and effective in dealing with my brain. Go ahead and download your own copy from TheBrain.com for both Windows and Mac users and I would like to get your feedback and your comments about how you are using this software for mind mapping and to get your feedback about this multiple view option feature.
