Minor Pentatonic in the Key on A

So we’re working with an A-minor pentatonic and just kind of going up the pentatonic scale, starting with a G here at the third fret, just coming up from the third fret and up to the fifth. Then, once again on the next string third to fifth, and then once you get to the fifth, you’re going to slide up to the seventh, then fifth and seventh again [demonstration].

You can get up here to the fifth fret on the third string [demonstration]. And here on the fifth fret, and you can kind of use your second finger here, it’ll be easier for positioning if you slide up to the seventh fret to the ninth fret on the third string here, and then eight fret to the 10th fret on the next string up [demonstration]. So we’re doing it extra slow. [Demonstration]. And we’ll take it a little faster, one, two, three and four. [Demonstration]. I’ll take it real faster, one, two, three and four [demonstration].
