Unknown Speaker: Your beard does have one of those stings that goes over your ears.
Unknown Speaker: Well that's because it's real, just like I am, Santa Claus. Oh go ahead and pull it.
Unknown Speaker: He wore beard, his car even looked like a slay, and according to an official Ohio identification card, his name was Santa Claus. But when Police responded to a minor car accident and he displayed his Santa Claus ID, Warren Hayes wound up on prosecutor's bad list.
Unknown Speaker: You believe that you are Santa Clause?
Unknown Speaker: Of course.
Irwin Kramer: Prosecutor's didn't believe in Santa Claus, or maybe they didn't believe that Warren Hayes was Santa Claus. In any event, they charged him with passing a fictitious ID, did they proof their case? According to the court there wasn't anything fictitious about it. According to the Ohio Bureau of Motor Vehicles, Santa has been a real person since early 1982. If the Bureau of Motor Vehicles believed in Santa, that was good enough for the court.
Unknown Speaker: Since the United States government declares this man to be Santa Claus, this court will not dispute it, case dismissed.
Irwin Kramer: For the Legal Television Network, I am Irwin Kramer.
