Shalom! The Mitzvah are visiting the sick. It is called Bicurhalim(ph), visiting the sick and it is base on the passage of the Talmud the “Traktith(ph) Shabbat”. Passage are recite every morning which says this are the things which healed immediate fruit and continue to healed the fruit to time to come and at least a lot of things including honoring your parents, doing deeds of kindness, attending the house of the study, and visiting the sick.
Now, there is a rules, a lot of rules, in the code of Jewish law about a visiting the sick but in summary, it is the mitzvah that visit the sick. Feel free to visit even you are not the relative or friend. Do not over due your stay, lengthy visits so often tire the patient, use common sense, do not go to early, do not go too late, do not sit on the bed, knock on the door, make to feel comfortable, be cheerful, do not speak about sad things.
There are healing a prayer (Foreign Language) which I have another Jew video. You can always, always pray for them, the time it says that if you visit, you take away the part of there illness and the story the Torah which it does not state there are Mitzvah to visit the sick.
There is a story though, were Abraham had circumcise themselves and what the end of one portion and then the beginning of the next portion God sent three angels to visit Abraham to tell him something, and one of the purposes of one of those angels visits was to offer him a visiting the sick at mitzvah.
So, if God takes the trouble to do that you, we should certainly visit the sick too. It is a very beautiful thing to do and science now are pretty clear that people who fill cured about do better than people who do not cured about.
Again the terms is (Foreign Language), the mitzvah of visiting the sick. (Foreign Language) is the hospital because the (Foreign Language) is a person who is sick. The (Foreign Language) would be a prayer and then there is another in the end of the someone’s life called the (Foreign Language) a confession, which all talk about later.
But still happily Mitzvah to visit of sick, the calls, the card, you think that a visit will helpful to them. Do it sometimes, people I want visitors but in general (Foreign Language) the great Mitzvah.
