Audra Lowe: A lot of people are trying to add that extra moisture to their beauty routine this time of year. And lucky for us Beauty expert Jennifer Walsh is here, she’s got the perfect solutions. Jennifer’s got some unique products and special ingredients that are in them and it will guarantee us healthy, vibrant hair and skin all winter long. Welcome back!
Jennifer Walsh: Yes, thank you so much. Good to see you!
Audra Lowe: That’s the first product, let’s just get right into it does everything, the wrinkles, the puffiness, the dark circles.
Jennifer Walsh: Everything is really touched in this serious. I’ll get right to it Garnier Nutritionistes Ultra Lift Pro, this moisturizer has SPF20. It’s wonderful, it’s hydrating yet it doesn’t leave the skin greasy. What you wan to do is put that on every morning before you go out and that’s where you need the SPF20.
Audra Lowe: And that’s really good you said for diminishing the wrinkles?
Jennifer Walsh: Diminishing wrinkles, hyper pigmentation but it’s also great because Garnier believes in beauty through nature and they have like something green called Prolaxen. And basically it’s an ingredient that’s a raw sugar extract from the beets tree. It’s really interesting so it’s a nature natural ingredient.
Audra Lowe: Now this next product which I didn’t know until this just a few minutes ago when Jennifer told me this is created by a hand model.
Jennifer Walsh: A hand model, she has been in the business for 20 years, Ellen Sirot. I love this concept because I haven’t seen someone really come up with a line specifically for your hands. And everyone says your hands are really there first signs of aging. I don’t want to show mine.
What a great idea because this is really a treatment come in 2 sizes. And Ellen Sirot basically said I’m going to create something it’s going to really help protect the skin and moisturize and treat it. Unlike a regular kind of hand cream, you’re not going to work in like that you’re just going to really put it on your hands very gently in the surface. You will see how quickly your skin’s going to absorb it.
Lovely idea, I think it’s fantastic. Helps the crappiness, hyper pigmentation again and it will just leave your skin soft, smooth and also kind of blur those fine lines in your hands that we get as we aged.
Audra Lowe: If anybody would know about the hand she would know.
Jennifer Walsh: It would be a hand model, absolutely.
Audra Lowe: This next line here which is a very popular line is a product in particular is good for ultra dry hair.
Jennifer Walsh: Ultra dry hair, this is some kind of called PHYTO Phytonectar has eggs in it, so the egg oil basically is going to really help smooth the skin, condition the skin of the hair follicle. And I love this because this is a pre-shampoo treatment. So you can leave it in for a few hours if you want to. Squirt a little bit, not really in the scalp but just all through the hair strands and at the bottom and it does a trick. And then wash up before you shampoo, it’s great. I love it.
Audra Lowe: This a black tea mask right?
Jennifer Walsh: Yes, from Fresh. And I really, I love the concept of this because black tea is going to also have so many wonderful ingredients. The smoothness, the firmness, really tightens the skin. But what they say is you put this on for 20 minutes once a week you will feel the hyper, almost hyper luxury of the moisturizing benefits for 6 hours afterwards. And so you can feel it moisturizing effect for 6 hours.
It’s wonderful and that consistency, I have told you before is a little bit almost like whip cream. It’s really a decadent kind of feeling and I loved it and put it on once a week and it really helps.
Audra Lowe: And it smells great too. Let’s open it up later.
Jennifer Walsh: It smells wonderful and as we cheat in this well I know you really can’t sniff and smell the TV, but if you could it will be good.
Audra Lowe: Thank you so much Jennifer, great tips too.
Jennifer Walsh: Thank you very much!
