Welcome to this episode of Body Performance. I am Steve Turrano.
Great Donald’s, who does not want them? You see them on commercials on TV all the time, telling you how easy they are to get. They have some models doing some sit ups or crunches using the abs lematic or the slim sizer doing it for two seconds a day, seven minuets abs, that kind of stuff. It is garbage, if you forget the little disclaimer which you cannot quite read on the screen, which says must be accompanied by diet and cardio.
Yes, great abdominals come from diet and cardio, not from sit ups and or crunchers or any type of that exercise. If you do them, that is great. They will make your abs stronger and firmer, but if you want six packs, if you want a flat stomach you got to get rid of the layer of fat covering your stomach, or covering your stomach muscles.
Unfortunately, that is just the way it is. You can see them improve this in your arms or your legs or your back. But, unfortunately until we get rid that layer of fat that covers your abdominals, we are not going to see them. So, when you see somebody in the gym, they got great of abbes and then you go ask them “Hey, what are you doing?” They better tell you diet and cardio. Because it has nothing to do to the earth, with your exercises and not doing some diet secret movements. They are not doing them any specific order, it got has nothing to do with sit ups.
You can do sit ups between now and the end of time. They will not bring out your six packs. They will bring out your six packs, is low body fat. And low body fat comes unfortunately, from diet and cardio. I will see you next time. Love your body.
