I am Steve Turano welcome to this episode body performance. Today I want to talk about two types of cardio. I am sure you have seen people walking around the neighborhood or walking on treadmills and they really not doing much and you know walking but you know not really what I would call exercise.
Hey, it is better than nothing and it is burning some calories and they like to call that cardio and that is fine. You can do that, it is not very good; it burns some calories, okay. Now you have the cardio that keeps you breathing deeper. That is a strain that puts some pressure on your heart and lungs. That cardio is like this, you are working you can not quite talk, you are out of breath but you are still able to do it.
Now that cardio not only burns more calories than the other cardio it also improves your cardio vascular system meaning it is working your lungs and your heart so it is also improving your lung and your heart capabilities just like we work out to stretch our muscles to make them adapt because they are not used to lifting weights we have to do the same thing with our heart and lungs to improve their performance, to improve our cardio vascular performance.
So cardio vascular activities are not just about burning fat because they fall in for fat. The once done with greater intensity it burns fatter, they also stresses your heart and lungs to improve your cardio vascular performance. Keep that in mind when you are doing cardio. Thanks for watching, love your body.
