Martyn: Motorola on Thursday announced its first mark on Android and operating system.
Sanjay: And here it is!
Martyn: The touch screen phone is being targeted that uses a social networking services and a Motorola platform called motoblur. Motoblur integrates contact and services such as facebook, tweeter and my space into a single or customized list.
Sanjay: What consumers are finding today is that they have multiple ways of communicating. They have an email, they have SMS, they have Facebook, they have MySpace, they have multiple different ways of communicating. They gather the content from multiple different places and what MOTOBLUR does is aggregates all of that and delivers it to you on the home screen so that all of that content in an easy way.
Matyn: At the San Francisco new conference, Jha say that the aggregation could pull multiple services together.
Sanjay: I just tap on the message and I could respond in any way that I am connected with that person. SMS, email, add reply, wall post, all right on one application.
Martyn: The data for services leaves on the network so if the phone is stolen it can be wiped clean remotely. When the user retrieves the phone or gets a new one, they can log back in with the same username and password and get all the data back. The phone has a slide out keyboard and supports wifi and 3G and has 5 mega pixel camera with video function and the GPS. Talk time is 6 hours and standby time is 325 hours. It’ll be available in the fourth quarter from T-Mobile USA as the Click and under the name Dex in the other countries, in France and in the UK thru orange and in Spain with Telefonica and with Latin America with America Mobil.
