Mountain Bike Tips: Be Prepared

Hi, this is Doug Dalton from Cannondale Bicycles with your Park City trail tip of the day. This trail tip might sound a little basic but it is one of the most important things and that is be prepared. No one thinks about it enough until it is too late. So before going out on a mountain bike ride, make sure you have just a few essential items and one of those is a trail map. We are lucky in Park City that we have got the Mountain Trails Foundation who has mapped and done a great job of producing trail maps that really show the best of what our area has to offer but take a few minutes, study the map, look at the terrain, and see where you would go if you had a flat tire, or a broken arm, let us see where those escape routes are. See where you should go if there is weather and always know where you are so that is your trail tip of the day.
