Hi, I am Patrik Zuest with the Cannondale team. I am giving you a couple quick tips that make a big difference when you are out on a race.
First thing is going to be your tire pressure. You want to make sure it is kind of in constant balance between too low, too high. The right pressure you will get a lot of traction, bike will roll in fast and you will also be a little more comfortable and they will just roll beautifully. Too high, sometimes you will lose traction or skid through turns and slide out but it will roll in faster. Too low, you will always be battling the issue with pinch flooding hitting a rock to hard and flatting your race room, something that you never want to do or so always you want to check your tire pressure, make sure you had the optimum pressure where you are, rocky little harder, softer make sure your eye well.
Always good things go through bolt check. Make sure everything is tight you do not want something falling off from the middle of the race and just usually go through run through. Check your cables and housing, make sure they are running smooth, make sure your chains does not have any bad links, you almost work in chain in the last race to make sure it works, so go through it. Save the suspension of the way you like it, that way you also got more control, bike handles better, drive as fast possible, and hopefully, win that race so a few tips they always check through whenever you are going through for a race.
