Jay Goldman: Hi, I'm Jay Goldman and you are watching Mr. Mobile now you can probably guess because of the high quality snow behind me and my official Santa hat that this is our holiday gift guide episode and you would be correct. We're going to show you couple of products today that you can stuff in stockings or hide into the tree or whatever your holiday gift giving tradition is and these are perfect for the people in your life who really like mobile stuff or really like their phones. Particularly if they have an iPhone because we're going to show you a great iPhone App and an accessory, let's start off in fact with that accessory.
These are the iFrogz Timbre head phones, now timbre in this case is actually kind of a fun play on words. Timbre in the sense of the sound quality but also timber as in timber because these have little wood chambers on the end and the wood is much better for resonance than plastic. So these are a great gift for somebody who likes a bit of a higher quality sound and listens to a lot of music on their phone also a great gift if they user it as a phone and this works with iPhone's or BlackBerry's.
There is a little inline microphone down here that allows you to make phone calls. So you don't have to take them out and grab the phone out of your pocket to make your call. They do come with small, medium and large ear covers in the packet, so perfect for people with small, medium or large size ears. They are about $50 you can buy them from iFrogz.com or from lots of your favorite retailers out there.
Now while you are in the holiday spirit or may be needing to get into it we are going to take a look at on iPhone application here called iChrismas. This is one of many holiday apps that you'll find in the App store so you can just take a look in there and you know search for words like Christmas or holiday you'll find ton of them. This one is called IChristmas it's made by Light In The Attic Software, its $0.99 and it includes a 100 plus Christmas carols with lyrics some of them are just lyrics without music but most of them actually do have the music as well.
So you can sing along and learn your favorite carols actually discover what the lyrics are. It also includes some kind of fun things, one of them is shakable jingle bells, so as you are walking down the street with your caroling group and you want to have some jingle bells that you can shake they are included in the app. The other one is portable mistletoe, so you can pop the mistletoe up on your screen hold that up over your head and get one of those special holiday moments.
Again lots of apps in the app store, so take a look in there search for words like holiday Christmas in you'll find tons of them and a bunch of them are free. Now while we are talking about holiday spirit we thought we'll show you this which is a Red Mophie juice Pack Air now we've have shown the Mophie Juice Pack on the show before, the Air is their newer model it's a lots slimmer takes up much less space in your pocket, same great battery life so this is a case for an iPhone that includes a built in battery. You can see on the back here we have got the battery charge indicator and this will extend your battery life roughly twice as long as the iPhone on its own with out adding a whole bunch of bulk.
