Hi! My name is Blair Glenn. I am the owner of Saratoga Tree Service and I am an ISA Certified Arborist.
Every once and awhile, I come across the tree that I find truly amazing, something unusual and out of the norm from the everyday routine of all the trees I see.
Few years ago, I was in Santa Clara and I encountered this absolutely beautiful Peachtree. It was a graft, what I saw here were three different flowers.
All of the flowers were different varieties of peach. Sadly, there was a fourth one. It was a peach colored sort of a yellow flower that was ripped off by a truck.
I look at the situation and I tried to figure it out what was this unusual tree doing in this parking lot?
And it became very apparent to me that this parking lot at one time was part of an old ranch and the old rancher or the old farmer was very creative and very knowledgeable of grafting and he took it upon himself to put together this collective of peaches in one tree.
Sadly, this tree has to come to all the impact of the pressure of people in this parking lot and the vehicles and the asphalts and everything we would impose upon it. But, I am very fortunate to capture this tree while it was still alive and to have witness this event when the tree was in bloom.
Sometimes, we take nature for granted and we do not appreciate the subtle little things that to some people who are just the average tree. To me, I see things a little bit deeper.
