Welcome and thank you for joining me. I am Gerry Oginski a New York Medical Malpractice and Personal Injury Trial Lawyer practicing law here in the State of New York. When you are deciding on an experienced attorney to represent you, I want to ask your attorney the following question, how often do you update me on the progress of my case? Many clients are starved for information and they often will call the attorney's when they haven't heard things in many months. There are some law firms who literally tell the client if you don't hear anything from us, please don't call us, we are busy working on your case and we don't want you to call us unless we call you.
Now that doesn't help that particular client, because the client will not know what's going on behind the scenes. You need to ask whether your attorney provides you with regular frequent updates so that you don't have to call the office. So that the attorney is the one who either initiates a phone call or send you regular updates on a monthly or some other basis. And that's important for you to know as a potential client, because you don't want to be kept in the dark and you want to know what's going on each step of the way. And that's it for today's video tip, I am Gerry Oginski. Thank You for joining me, have a great day.
