Hey, everyone. Today I am just going to show you a couple of really neat computer frames. One of them is just going to be a short cut to turn off a computer, another one will be a wall paper prank, really easy simplest to do.
So for the first one we are going to right click on the desktop, we are going to new, then we are going to short cut. There is a box that will appear and it says type of location of the item. So we are going to type shut down, space, hyphen astal S, stands for shutting down. Space hyphen T which stands for time. You are going to hit space and I am going to set this for about a thousand seconds. Usually what I will do is set up for 60 since it will seem more realistic. Then space hyphen C which stands for comment space and in quotations. Go ahead and just type what ever you want.
We are going to go to next and type, we are going to call this internet explorer and hit finish. As you can see this does not quite look like internet explorer yes, we are going to right click on it, we are going to go all the down to properties, we are going to go to change icon, press okay. We are going to go all the way right here and get this internet explorer icon. Highlight it and click okay, apply and okay. Now this looks like internet explorer. When you put prank clicks on it this will pop up and you see right here the message it probably we put it on quotation marks so that is how you modify and you can make it look like a critical system error what ever you want and right here is the time limit. And you can see that we can not click out of here and you can do the three finger salute and test through there.
So what we are going to do is we are going to go ahead and click start and go to run and type shut down space hyphen A. click okay, and that will be one way to shut it down or what we can do is a new and we will create another short cut, we will name this one shut down space hyphen A which stands for abort. Click next and I like to call this abort and I like to change the icon so that it is, this one here, you see when we click on internet explorer we can just go ahead and click here and there will be another way to exit that out.
And then the other prank what we are going to do is a go ahead and hit the print screen button. If you do not know where that is at, it is right above the insert button which is right above the delete button. So we will go ahead and press that and what that will do is it will take a screen shot out of your desktop. Now that we did that we are going to hit start and go to run. We are going to type MS paint, it will open up paint and what we will do is go to edit, paste and see this is in exact image of our desktop. We are going to go ahead and save this, just save it to some you can remember, I am sure I can remember untitled so we are going to save that and you can see it opens up here. Now what we are going to do is right click on the desktop and go to arrange icons by and go ahead and uncheck show desktop icons.
As you can see there is no more desktop icons apparently and so go ahead and right click on the desktop and go to properties and then go to the desktop tab and click browse. Now go to the desktop and find the image that you just saved, click open, apply and okay. Now when your friends try and click on anything it would not open out because really all that they are doing is just clicking on a picture they are not clicking on a new real desktop icon. Really that is the only pranks that I know, I am sure you can try and find some other ones on the net but do not get too carried away and do not get in trouble just have a good time I guess.
