Hey guys, hope you are all right today, it’s Mick here. I'm just going to do a full review hopefully today on some Apple In-Ear headphones as you can see right here. Sorry about me already unboxing them. So I opened it up with the camera, I'm recording it for all you guys and my crappy little tripod just decided to fall off on me. And—the camera gets to the desk on the way down and it corrupted the file, luckily I didn’t break the camera and I didn’t realize that until I got into nearly editing it in Sony Vegas and there you go, it’s all gone and I just have the second because I recorded it in two parts.
Here we go, put them back in the box for you just so you could see what they look like in the box—on there because I don’t have time to clean it all out since I put the—in the—so there you go, I’ll just take the—we have to start at the bottom and lift this up here. There you go, it’s so nice they—it because it’s made by Apple and they don’t give you a rubbish quality stuff anyway. There you go, you’ve got—well first I’ll just do this. These are just the large and small ends for your headphones. For some reason, I can't the other—oh there you go, small. I think they're medium actually because I've got the large ones because of my big ears. Okay then, put that back, there as well handy. They do stay in your ear all the time. They don’t fall out your ears when you have the right size headphone adopter on the whole way, whatever you want to call it. Here you go, just around the triangle, designed by Apple in California, assembled in China, nicely enough. I don’t like anything else and so if we take this off, let’s switch into two. I hate this little triangle I have to say because it’s just—I'm not going to carry that around with me although it is nice and small. We got to wrap it up and it’s really hard to wrap it.
There we go, I'm unravelling now, actually going to take me another 10 minutes probably here, there we go. We got a good way now. Take that out of there, there you go, lots of focus out of it. And there you can see the full design of the headphone. From there it’s just like a little magic cups, I’ll probably just take that off for you. It’s quite hard to get off, there you go, magic cups which you can replace because there are replacements in the manual which I’ll show you in just a couple of seconds. There you go, lots of focus, there you go. Okay, that’s underneath the triangle here, for your Apple manual. As you can see, so we should take this thing up here, there we go, there are some replacement magic cups which hopefully you can see, so there’s the replacement magic cups, so you go in lots of different languages. There’s little pouches on it just being a flap. It’s got a pouch for this card, whatever it is, warranty, whatever, I can't remember. I don’t really care, never read that. No point in reading instructions on how to use headphones, I don’t think—
So I’ll put all of this back and they haven't got receivers on all the iPods or any of their Mp3 player, I don’t think—so anyway, you wouldn’t want any other Mp3 player I'm sure because they are rubbish. The Sony—rubbish a bit, yeah, let’s skip over them. Okay—just yet, I'm not sure if they got any software update sometime soon. Click play, pause music, answer, reject, can’t reject, actually just answer and put down the phone. On iPhones,—and you can also go to next song by double tapping and go to previous song by doing three taps, very quickly or else it doesn’t respond which is quite annoying sometimes.
Also when you got cold hands, when you click, it’s really hard to work out if you're doing the double taps to do the next song until it happens really. Anyway, that’s just a minor part that I've found out when I was on my paper out with a cold hand. Okay, the headphones themselves, they are actually very small. This is a very—as you could probably see this one, it’s about—from there and a little stick going down, most of it sort of a—as I'm sure you wouldn’t want to tear off because these are expensive headphones and not the rubbish ones that come with iPods.
Okay then, the exact specs for these headphones are very impressive actually for a £55.00 headphone, $89.00, $79.00 something around there. Okay to the specs, we’ve got two drivers inside this headphone, we have two drivers inside the other headphone, four drivers all in all which is double what you usually get which is a very nice feature. We've got one woofer which is bass and low mid range and we’ve got one twitter which is treble and high mid range mostly. They overlap a little bit on mid, mid range which sounds a bit stupid but they do overlap and it means that the mid range really comes through in your sounds which is perfect for monitor headphones which you are speaking about in the comments section of my part two Apple iPod earphones versus Bang and Olufsen earphones and Sony earphones that I made as my first review. We have the monitor headphone angle which is meaning that you’re relying on the headphone say to reproduce a sound exactly as the raw sound files, you sound like your real life is on your recording equipment. You could reproduce unenhanced sound which is true because you are relying on them to produce exactly the same sound as they should and it’s not being enhanced or anything by your iPod or whatever. They haven't enhanced the sound themselves which is good really because you can rely on them to reproduce the sounds exactly as you want which means when you make the video for your YouTube or whatever or professionally, they’ll sound exactly as you were listening unless there’s—it enhances it obviously but they didn’t enhance it themselves and wanted to sound like that I'm sure. This video is dragging on a bit now so I'm just going to say, as well as that, these headphones can enhance the sound, just change your iPod equalizer, meaning that—because these headphones are so neutral on sound they don’t enhance it themselves, it means when you do change the equalizer, it really changes them and they can be perfect at doing any old equalizer setting and really enhancing the sound or making exactly how you like it which is perfect, these are—I must say.
All right I'm having difficulty telling the difference between the Bang and Olufsen A8’s and these which is impressive because of A8’s are £80.00 and these are £55.00 so that’s quite a big difference in price as well. These have more bass actually but I'm about to say, the quality of the Bang and Olufsen’s are obviously a bit—frequency response is excellent throughout and all the way from 5 Hertz to 21 Kilohertz which 5 Hertz is pushing it a bit but I believe them, I do believe them that they can enhance, reproduce the sound down to 5 Hertz or low quiet and the rest obviously. I’ll put a graph for you hopefully now which shows you exactly how many decibels you get out of the different frequencies.
Okay then, hopefully that’s helpful to you and I'm just going to finish off that these Aplle headphones are for good sound—and after you’ve got the rate and head on them here, these are all—and showing you impressive and accurate details across the entire sonic spectrum which it says on the website and I do definitely agree with that because they definitely do.
Sorry this video hasn’t been much point in it being a video because I've just been twiddling these around quite a lot. Please subscribe to my channel if you like this video and please check out my other videos and you don’t have to subscribe, I'm not pushing you or anything, hopefully you will though and I would like to see you as a part as well through rating this video, please rate it now, just rate it, please now. Thank you and comment if you want any further details, I’ll be sure to get back to you as fast as I possibly can. Oh, last thing, thank you to AJ Beep who gave me a comment on part two of my Apple iPod earphones versus—and he said about how good the review was. Thanks for that comment, that’s a really nice comment that I have to say and yeah, cheers!
