New Functions For Windows Context Menu - Tekzilla Daily Tip
Welcome to Tekzilla Daily, I’m Veronica Belmont. Right clicking on a Windows program’s title bar brings up a few options like maximize, restore, and close. Not much to write home about, right?
Well today, I have a free download to bring a bunch of new features to that menu. It’s called “Window Menu Plus” available at moo0.com. Once installed, you’ll notice a few new options in your right click menu. You can click “Keep on Top” to make that window permanently above all the others, you can click “Transparency” to adjust the opacity of that window anywhere from 10%to 100%. You can kill the process, adjust its priority and even view basic information on that application, such as the version, the file path, the time running, the memory usage, and much more.
So if you want a few handy shortcuts accessible right from a program’s menu bar, give Window Menu Plus a try.
Now, if you have a tip or trick to share with the TZ audience, let us know. Email us a tekzilla@revision3.com and don’t forget tekzilla.com. It’s the place to find more tips, tricks, product reviews, and how-to’s.
