I'm 6 foot 8 with a BMI of 27.1 (about 10 lbs overweight), and all around the gut and hips. I tried this exercise to get back down to the 220-225lb range (about mid range BMI for my height 19-15 BMI). This on is intensive to say the least. It not only helped me loose the weight but toned my body as well. I have stronger arms, shoulders, back... generally a tougher core, especially my lower back and abs. I would strongly suggest a back brace to someone who suffers from back pain. It really takes a toll after about the 10th or 11th repetition. I did have knee braces as well, they're rough on the joints. To the person who asked if it will get rid of the waist, yeah. I went from a 48 waist (mens) to a 42 in about a a week and a half doing 3 reps of 12 every other day, and doing squats, push ups, about 15 mins of treadmill running and 10 more of cycle machine (both slight incline).

different, to say the least. I'll try it. I'm a construction workere 43 yrs of age, Been excersising for a # of years, every time i work the core, my pants size gets bigger. I don't want that. So how can i get rid of the size of my waist, just 1-2 inches???? can you help?? Rock.on

This excersive is injury-prone: an untrained user could very easily hurt both back and knees. For fat burning excercise, i'd send the user for a walk.
