Jennifer Mathews: Kay Kerrigan is taking time to stop and smell her roses today. Now that she can see them.
Kay Kerrigan: I was always grabbing for the glasses everywhere, and then I wouldn't have them with me, or I'd misplace them.
Jennifer Mathews: Kay had good vision most of her life, but her fifty-something eyes couldn't stay up with the rest of her. Kay developed presbyopia, or old age sight.
Jennifer Mathews: Dr. Marguerite McDonald had something to offer Kay. Conductive Kerotoplasty, simply called CK.
Dr. Marguerite McDonald: CK is the use of radio frequency energy emitted through a very small wand or probe that is pressed into, but not through the outer wall of the eye.
