Nokia N800 Internet Tablet Review Part 1/3 Hi, this is Chris Gohlke for Digital Home Thoughts and this is part one of our multipart look at the Nokia N800 internet tablet. This product was designed as a portable web browser but it’s really smart design choices have made it into a pocketable computer. They can serve as an ultra movable PC for really far less in any other offering out there. So let’s start by taking a look at what you get in the box. Now we opened it up here in front we’ve got the main unit which we will put aside for right now and we’ll take a look at that one more in depth later. We’ve got a battery pack, a miniSD card right with a 128 MB within an adaptor to bringing up to a full size SD card in this unit. It’s got an odd choice. I don’t know why they just didn’t include the full size SD card to start with but 128 megs. I don’t think we’re going to be using it anyway. Next we’ve got a set of like headphones with a microphone on it. Probably usable for the Skype application that is built-in on this unit and finally on the top we’ve got a pair of styli which is always nice to have a backup. Go down on the next level, we’ve got a pretty generic, simple, basic case, a power adaptor, a USB cable and your getting started guide/software etcetera. So that wraps up part one of our look and next we’ll take a look at the hardware.
