This is the single running Nokia N93i and it video review provided by Phonearena.com. The N93i replaces the big and chunky N93 and feature new blog design with lots of mirror like surface with high passion appeal.
It keep the same idea of a camcorder smart phone with site mounted lens and swiveling display and then unfortunately improvements almost nothing but the design. The whole front shell is a mirror which easily catches fingerprints. If the sun is not too bright you can now just a call all that information display which can grow in the few colors.
On the left is the camera size out of focus lens of the three mega pixel camera with flash a LED below. Here also is a pop up connector cover with plastic and the charging socket. Below is the loud speaker. On the right is a camera shutter key with zoom rank around it and below it are small joystick and too camera shortcuts.
These keys are situated here because this is the site you see when you use the phone as a camera. Simply rotate the display to start the interface and start shooting as if you are using the common camcorder. As the N93i runs with Symbian 9.1 it doesn’t have interface like the N95 and lack some of the excellent options.
Just like the N93 it lacks out of focus and close up mode. The performance is also similar and add with some moist in pictures, dark object when you have to use the flash and then the focus mark on photos. Now on recent camera phone test the N93 was the worst it is just not so way it comes to texture of video clip. The N93i records VGV use which means 640 x 480 pixels resolution with 30 frames per second.
This is claim to have near is a bit quality and mobile the high compression the videos are really good when preview to the computer. These two cams compare with video camcorder though. N93i has all the bells and whistles of the Symbian smart phone and all that cons of resemblance of night phone one compare to 9.2.
The phone has excellent phonebook and the book organizer but it has only one alarm. The powerful hardware deals easily with office documents and 3G games. But the multimedia player is in the one with most convenient interface.
Lacking A2GP stereo Bluetooth you are restricted to using the headphones from the box which are mediocre. Searching for an adapter as long as not included in the box if you want to connect regular one with 2.5 jack or listen to the loud speaker which is not good for the music. Using Q and key S or Wi-Fi you can browse the internet view the exceptional and now with opinion browser only to emails to the integrated email client.
Here we have open Phone Arena’s webpage and can read the latest news and interest and previews of latest gadgets. A drawback is the tri-band GSM connectivity which is restrict to using the phone in only some parts of the US and single band through TS which will not work here at all.
The N93i isn’t a reception hunter and has weakest thing knows friend than other Nokia but difficult for brand ex in those sound quality. The voices are clear and the volume is strong. We were impressed by the very wild speaker phone which we use from nine feet or three meters distance.
Still we don’t get the idea of the N93i it just an excellent camcorder but when compare to the slider N95 it has only the drawbacks. The only cool thing is the three times optical zoom but it doesn’t compensate for the lower resolution much more of quality and less options. It doesn’t really change or the N93 was its too offers video camera quality but this time with smaller body size.
If you're considering getting the N93i we would recommend you the N95 which offers better camera, GPS and newer improve operating system in smaller package.
