Hi, this software video review from softwareslant.com and today I'm going to review software called the Nokia PC Suitee and if you’re an owner of a Nokia mobile phone you can actually use this free software and to do all kinds of things with you mobile. First of all of course you have to connect your Nokia mobile phone a computer and then you can start up the Nokia PC suite. And what it allows you to do is create backups. Now you can create backups of all your phone information or just part of it like your context, your message, your settings and much, much more so let say you'll be upgrading your phone firmware on software and then before doing that you can actually do a copy of all your phone and this program the back of that I would like to do that and if something goes wrong you can always restart.
As you can see new phone software available from my Nokia N95 so before actually updating I can do a backup copy and this is what you can back up use a file from phone memory and memory card context can then know settings bookmarks and more and more and more. And let say I just want to book up, I can just backup messages or settings or I would actually backup everything if I would at some few more upgrades on my phone. That is very cool and you can have this many back up as you want and you can have actually view you backup every week and then if something goes wrong all you lose the context to delete it or message or anything else and just go back restart the backup and see what cause that.
Now, this one synchronize what it let's you do is let you synchronize emails kind of drive the context between the phone and Microsoft Outlook or Outlook express or even lot of known or lot of organize if you use that upload for example. Then it allows you to connect to the internet, connect you main PC to the internet using the their mobile phones GSM or 3G or 315G connection, so if you have a lock up and to hit the plan or just the network connection on your phone through the GSM or another network you can actually go ahead and connect your main computer to the internet to your phone or to your company internet.
Context let's you well view the context on your phone and then export save them or just make adjustment to just see quickly that’s my phone and that’s my contact and again import them. You can export them, let say I select all of them and I click export and then you can for example, export them as come as separated values and this will basically let you imported into any program and the other program or Excel or Microsoft auto grand anything else, you know. The messaging part is the same as on your phone so you can actually read the message you received and you can write message then let say it much, much easier to write messages with your keyboard.
Okay and well if you're sending a lot of messages you could use that program to actually read the messages and actually send the messages from your computer and it goes through you phone and through the natural and this is called works. Well, actually if you don’t have a computer which one to type a lot of message very you can get a USB for the book keypad for Nokia and you can actually hook it up the Bluetooth and to your Nokia phone or Nokia smart one and you can actually use the phone and do the best just and everything and if you have a phone like me like Nokia and then the filler or better then actually hook it up to monitor or to a normal television set and then if you have that Bluetooth keyboard to convert in it you can do your messages, you can even use some program and view some programs and all of that using your small phone.
Okay, now calendar entries is exactly as same as on your computer again let's you import and export the file that you have to do like on Thursday I have some kind of a or actually that’s my haircutting appointment there and that how much I have setting for that. This is an alarm do I want it to be repeat it daily, weekly, monthly, let say you want to add an anniversary and you add it and set it to be with the repeat at the GRS or your phone reminds me what you should remember yourself in. Now the phone manager it allows you to brows the files on the phones if I'm going to my memory card and I can go to my documents which is to my music and this is some of the audio books that I have on. Okay and I can copy that, I can delete, I can change, I can rename and use pretty much everything you can in the windows export.
Now, change the music will this allows you to do is it’s allows you to transfer music from your computer to your phone or backwards and it will actually convert the files through this special phone formats so it fits on the phone you can fit a lot of things. And what I use it for is actually I copy all my audio books into my phone so when I'm driving someone I just hook up my air and headless that headphone so or it had hand free set and then I listen to audio books like that.
Now store images if you have that phone with the group camera or within the camera and if you do a little photos on that and video you can actually use this tablets to get all the videos and images from your phone to your computer as you use that. Okay and then it allows you to delete more programs as well if you want to, to keep the phone clean. And this one transfers videos to your phone and converts them to the mobile phone but as well as just to let you install software and this one allows you to update the phone software and this one is allows you to download maps if you're using Nokia maps for navigation.
Okay, so if you just try the update this what you get you have to download the Nokia updater and you can now have it yet and this is called works and it’s pretty cool actually but the message comes in they're pops up all kind of dialog box here and you can actually see the incoming messages just like in what and you can actually dragon drop well contents on to this phone. So if you create a file testing and you could just chop it on the phone again. Let's try and search to see data, okay. And then, so this pretty cool just if you have some software or videos or something that just quickly drag it on to the program and it’s actually copied to the drive, okay.
Okay, you can see the destine file that I have and the limit. Now, so that’s Nokia PC Suite and that has separate version of business use just as well and you can get it free from Nokia.com. So this has been software video review from softwareslant.com. I hope you enjoy it and good luck.
