I was administered the WISC when I was nine. The verbal IQ was in the 99th percentile. The performance IQ was in the 77th percentile. Is this unusual?

Beth: Hi! My name is Beth and I am from Columbus, Ohio and I was just wondering what a non-verbal learning disability is? Frank Wood: Beth, my definition of that kind of disability involves solving puzzles, as in these block designs, making new designs out of them. And only that sort of thing, not problems in reading or even really in arithmetic. It's rare. In fact, I would have to say, it is over diagnosed, but it does exist and it refers to problems that are limited to special things and which usually don't cause too much in the way of academic issues for students.
