A lot of you have seen me and it is probably that you have heard me lecture before with the chiropractors in the United States and I have lectured all over the world and most patients that I lecture to actually have a copy of my book and I may have actually signed your book, a lot of it is in the x-ray imaging area, the professions in the areas of technology and imaging technology.
I have recently been exposed to an outstanding place where actually the decompression the DRX9000 which will medically reduce the focal disk herniation at the L5-S1 level producing compression of the S1 and over it and produce focal S1 radiculopathy and that patient had had problems for about two months and have not responded to any form of our traditional chiropractic type of treatments, so we had physiotherapy and acupuncture.
He took it upon himself to see a chiro and have the extra decompression with the DRX9000 done. The pre-imposed MRI scans were remarkable and the changes were to me almost mind boggling. The disk herniation was resolved and this patient was back to playing ping pong and back to his physical activities and all activities of life without pain and that pain is gone and he was in here in September of 2005 and had 17 treatments on the DRX9000 and was rescanned in May 2006. So that time frame, he was asymptomatic after two months and has remained asymptomatic up until he was scanned in May and the scans were done the same in other scans and the same T1 and T2 weighted imaging sequences were performed so that we are were able to actually reproduce the exact same clinical scenario and for the imaging of that patient. It was a miraculous result. That being the case, many of you who maybe are treating some patients with disk herniation using the modality available to you. This is our DRX9000. I am impressed with what the actual decompression can do. I am very impressed with the DRX9000 and to think that this was going to be presenting the usual things and you should consider looking into. It is credible. I have had lots of good response from controlled moving images around the United States and also in the Denver community. Doctors who I have spoken to, many of their patients who have been in my office to be treated, I have wound up reading their MRI scans who have gotten their life back as a result of this to avoid surgery.
It at all possible, we would like to have patients not have surgical intervention. Your doctors know that and they know the complications of those surgical interventions and they want to avoid them as much as possible and yet I have a success rate of surgeries that are very good, five years success rate 50% recurrence—this kind of tells you that it can occur following that. If you are a smoker out there, you doctors want to tell your patients that you will get three times the amount of scar tissue with surgical intervention if you are a smoker. We have had a lot of patients who are smoking so they are even at further risk to have that surgery or spinal injections that may not be successful. In the end, we all want to keep in mind to educate your patients concerning the potential and investigate the possibility. Attend some seminars and do some reading about actual decompressors specifically the DRX9000.
