I am Steve Turano. Welcome to this episode the body performance. I was speaking with the gentlemen in the gym in the other day and he told me, “You, know I have cut out all sugar”, I said, “Wow! You look great!” and he says, “Yes, I have loss 20 lbs this is cut out sugar”
I said, “Wow! That is fantastic. Hey, by the way! Are you doing anything else?” “Oh! Yes, I walking four to five miles a day.”
“Oh, really?” Do you think that cutting out a teaspoon of sugar in your coffee which is 15 calories and by the way a sugar is made by mother nature is natural product.
Do you think that is making this incredible weight loss occur? Or do you think it is the four to five miles is walking a day? You see people just have some perspective on way. I mean they maybe achieving it but sometimes they do not understand how to it is occurring and why it is occurring. I mean I had breakfast with clients who say, “You know I am cutting out sugar that is it no sugar for me, no more. Oh! By the way of all the craze with the fruit on top and they make reserve. Thank you!”
What do you think is in all that stuff? If it is not a protein, if it is not a fat? Guess what it is? It is a carbohydrate and if it is carbohydrate complex or not it is still a sugar.
Rice’s, breads, pastas, potatoes, vegetables, fruits, deserts those are all sugars. You can not make it from the day without sugars. So, take people make these grand statements, “I am not going to have sugar anymore.”
They think that is going to cause there weight loss and typically when they think about I am not having sugar anymore. There talking about the whites stuff in they put on the coffee or on the tea. Possibly or might be in the cola. They are not look at the broad picture. The carbohydrates are the major fuel of the body. That is will gives your body in the brain.
Again, people just do not have seem clear perspective on weight loss.
