A great pair of sunglasses can make your look. Ashley: Hi, welcome to watchmojo.com I’m your host Ashley and today I’m going to introduce you to Oakley’s new collection for women. Ashley: So can you give us a little inside of the new women’s sun glass line? Male: We’ve been on the market since 1975, we’ve never actually did a line that was specifically done for women and starting last summer we just came out with a new line. Five hundred sixty pieces were designed especially for women, new shades, and new materials. Ashley: And did you guys like diverse yourself from other top brands out there. Male: It’s with our technologies. We put so much money and research in the document and we always try to come with new stuff. We do everything ourselves from our frames to our lenses. We have engineers that will build the machines that will create these frames. Ashley: And can you tell us a little bit about the plutonian lenses. Male: Its poly carbonate lenses, basically we take the best poly carbonate that there is on the market and we purify it. We kind of heat it up so all the carbon specs are going down and the pure material is floating on top. So there is nothing that is more impact resistant than these lenses. Ashley: Can you tell us what three points fit exactly means. Male: Basically, three points fit; it’s really simple, when you put on your face both temples, which are these pieces here and the nose. So it stays on your face three point fit supports sports use and stuff like this. There is less chance that it will move on you face. Ashley: Can you show us the top three trends for this season? Male: We have pieces like this right here, the Breathless, it’s a really big piece one lens, it’s kind of a shield. Mold fitted girl would go with this. Do you want it to try on? Here, have another one, more of a retro look so its pretty much flat, not really curved, if you want to try it on again? And then we have the Ravishing you could kind of compare it to the Breathless, you know lots of curve to the frame but its two separate lenses. What’s cool about this one you know, since its two different pieces, if you could put prescription in your lenses? New colors that we have for our frames also, as you can see right here, it’s called the brownish sugar. Super light, super flexible, will always come back to its shape. Ashley: Thank you very much!
