Let's work through the tune now. So as we start the tune on a G chord. This is the chorus of the song and we’ll go. And we’ll go down one fret on both, the sixth and first strings up on the six strings, but continuing downward on the first. So I’ll do that again.
Now, to see standard C, what you might say, not the one that she plays where you get the sixth string. And she’s going to let the base travel a little bit behind the C phrase. So the base goes like this [Demonstration]. Now, to the E fret chord, pretty straight forward. Anticipating movement to the F of the third string and continuing in F.
Now, to her C. Now she’s going to phrase the melody here in front of the bit. So the melody notes will consistently arrive in front of the base notes. I’m going to do that one more time [Demonstration]. So now, she’s at the verse of the song and begins in C, what I think of as her C, fretting the sixth string rather than the fifth. Hammering into F, C, C. So as she went through on the second half of that [Demonstration]. O, sorry.
Yeah, so she does an ending there where she alternates between the base. Now, chorus. So she heads up here to this A, something not previously headed to at that point. Now, you can ether bar this as what she does. I just sort of got in a habit of that from watching her on the video but you know what, it's probably easier just to do a sort of bared F shape, just as though you’re going to play an F chord. It will be like this. I'm going to do that again. Now, I'm down to F. Once again, phrasing in front of the bit. Yes, so there it is. So now I think we’re ready for the split screen version of Oh Babe it Ain't No Lie.
