I have always wanted to get to Germany for October Fest but I have not got in there yet. You know what I say? If you cannot get to the party bring the party to you, so for this quick bite. I will show you how to make my fun and festive October Fest party platter.
I am going to start by slicing my sausages into bit size pieces. Now, these are just free cooked turkey sausages that I have heated up on my grill pan.

I slice my ham in half and then roll it up.

Next, I will take some hard salad or Pretzels and break them up into bite size pieces.

Now, I will take my thin slice Pumperknickel bread and slice into triangles.

Then, I slice my cheese into bit size pieces. Now, I chose a smoke gouda and sharp cheddar. Great variety and flavor and the color contrast looks great on the plate and remember we do eat with our eyes first.

And the last step our pickles. I choose baby do and bread and butter slices.

Now, for dipping sauce I went with two different mustards. I chose Horseradish and Chipotle. Serve this platter up with a cold German beer and you got yourself a party.
