Olympus Stylus 720w Digital Camera Review
Tiffany Young: Hi there and welcome to Neo-Fight.tv, the technology reviews with two points of view. My name is Tiffany Young.
Ben Freedman: And I’m Ben Freedman, and today is Wednesday, September the six.
Tiffany Young: All day long.
Ben Freedman: All day long and if you’ve been watching the show for a little while, you’ve probably had noticed that I have a fetish. I have a bag—
Tiffany Young: You’re sort of—just talk about your bag fetish day.
Ben Freedman: I have a bag fetish I’m a Bagaholic. If I could live in the Middle East, I’d live in Baghdad.
Tiffany Young: So stupid, I think it’s funny. Anyway—
Ben Freedman: That pretty much describes me. So stupid I’m funny.
Tiffany Young: Anyway, we have three bags for review today.
Ben Freedman: We have three bags we’re going to look at today. A little bag around up, if you will.
Tiffany Young: Bag-o-rama.
Ben Freedman: Bag-o-rama and I know you’ll like these first ones. I’m going to start with this one you would like; this is a very cool bag.
Tiffany Young: It is a very cool bag.
Ben Freedman: This is the biggest bag we’re looking at today and this is the SLAPPA, the name of the company is SLAPPA.
Tiffany Young: And they got, big, big SLAPPA it looks like a handprint on this side. Looks like you could have slap at it, right?
Ben Freedman: Go ahead give it a five. There you go.
Tiffany Young: High fives the bag, yeah.
Ben Freedman: This is the SLAPPA Bulkhead, I don’t know if it’s like four colon one, four in one, four of one, four in one bag.
Tiffany Young: You know this bag is awesome. I’ve tell you the quality of this bag—you know okay, I have to describe it like a new prim kind of like a wet suit sort of material.
Ben Freedman: It’s really funky material and—
Tiffany Young: I mean this is the strongest material.
Ben Freedman: Steals meat, you cannot touch it
Tiffany Young: Just like shark suit material.
Ben Freedman: Shark suit, shark fin?
Tiffany Young: Shark suit material, it’s just so like fig and it feels -
Ben Freedman: It feels very durable.
Tiffany Young: And it feels—this is like as far as quality is concern, it’s a very high quality feeling bag.
Ben Freedman: Yeah and let me show why they call it the four in one is, I don’t know if you can see here on the side there’s actually one, two, three, four discreet compartments and they all zip up. Allow me to unzip one here so you can basically I’m just—
Tiffany Young: Okay so look we have a toiletry bag right here, look you don’t want drag your whole bag to the bathroom do you? Here is your toiletry bag? Yeah.
Ben Freedman: That’s right.
Tiffany Young: So it zips right out off there plus if you have this in your bulkhead at you know in the airplane, you don’t have to get down the whole bag; you can really just unzip the pocket that you need to get your books—
Ben Freedman: Leave your clothes up over head and just take off you know iPod bag or whatever it is they have here. So four different compartments and you know why I find—when I go on a day trip to a different office or something, I’ve got my clothes in one section and my laptop in another. You van like unzip your clothes section and just leave that section in the hotel.
Tiffany Young: And then I wanted to point out that this is like this much of this material here is actually padding, it’s a super, super, super padding.
Ben Freedman: Very safe.
Tiffany Young: Laptop I mean bag. I would feel comfortable actually putting this through luggage.
Ben Freedman: So that’s the SLAPPA four in one—
Tiffany Young: Almost, I’m so scared about bringing a laptop to your luggage but I mean this thing is like thick.
Ben Freedman: I think you could check this with the laptop in it that will be great. So SLAPPA four in one very cool, I love the way you can unzip these departments.
Tiffany Young: $180.00?
Ben Freedman: $180.00, yeah.
Tiffany Young: And worth every penny I think.
Ben Freedman: There you go. This is the next one is by a company called Roadwired. And this is the Roadwired MegaMedia bag, now this is the one my favorite of the three that we are looking at today. Because this has 36 pockets, let me show you, the other bag had four pockets with you know with different compartments, this has 36 different pockets. So it’s got here and it’s kind of strange, you go to undo the front clips and then there’s two tack clips here to undo as well.
Tiffany Young: Then I have to say something. If 36 pockets, okay, now I don’t know, 36 pockets if I put something in a pocket, I may not found it, at the 36th pocket because that’s—
Ben Freedman: You got to look through the other 35 for it.
Tiffany Young: Yeah exactly. I mean it’s like I—when I put something in a pocket, I can’t find it. The bag like this would be a disaster for me.
Ben Freedman: I love having a lot of pockets, I love having everything having its place. So inside your standard laptop pockets and all that stuff but you have not only do you have this like one area that opens up in here, see that? Actually it was on it two kinds—
Tiffany Young: Or you take out of your shirt that was nice.
Ben Freedman: But it also has a second pocket that could open up here with a whole bunch pockets in there so it’s got the one and the two and then pockets in here. And it’s got a pocket thingy in the back and it has like a super secret hidden compartment pocket, you know in here if you wan to do—if you want to put—
Tiffany Young: You get in all the side of that bag.
Ben Freedman: I know I love this bag.
Tiffany Young: Back up folks, I mean just going to back up right out of the screen
Ben Freedman: So if you want to have—if you need to take your laptop and printer and a bunch of other stuff in there as well, this is a great bag for doing that and yet it zips all. I know it’s too many pockets here.
Tiffany Young: Are you telling me that you haven’t lost anything and not yet—
Ben Freedman: Do me a favor, feel this handle, really nice feeling handle.
Tiffany Young: That is a nice handle.
Ben Freedman: Didn’t the handle feel good? Don’t it?
Tiffany Young: It does, yes.
Ben Freedman: Yeah it’s got a very, very nice feeling handle at very—
Tiffany Young: Stiff.
Ben Freedman: Don’t go there, very gruffly that’s it. No! It’s got a very nice feeling handle that is the Roadwired like a media back.
Tiffany Young: I know you’ve lost things in these pockets. Am I red?
Ben Freedman: Going on to our third and I got to tell you, do women have this problem as well? I love backpacks but when you’re wearing a suit jacket or you know a jacket—
Tiffany Young: Doesn’t go with the back pack?
Ben Freedman: You can’t wear backpack, you have to wear something like this because it looks kind of—you’re creasing everything.
Tiffany Young: It doesn’t go right with the pin stripping.
Ben Freedman: Right. If you can go—if you are—so I would not take it you know like from wearing the suit jacket I’m going to take something like this that looks nice.
Tiffany Young: Well even if with this one I mean this would look okay with the suit but this is more like your kind of raggedy more you know, this is not your sleek—
Ben Freedman: Okay you like the bag called SLAPPA, remember? So don’t be bugging me about what you can and can’t take with you.
Tiffany Young: SLAPPA is a great bag.
Ben Freedman: Okay.
Tiffany Young: Okay, go ahead. I’ll watch over your back pack, go ahead. Where’s the back packs.
Ben Freedman: If you can wear something a little more casual, this is I really love the—
Tiffany Young: Like you’re here in college though.
Ben Freedman: Yeah. I don’t know if it’s a good call bag is as if you’re high tech in college. It’s a bit hiking—
Tiffany Young: Let’s get to like hiking—
Ben Freedman: yeah, I would say if I was going to a trip where I could were like casual Friday type outfit, you know like just short sleeves or whatever. This would be a great back pack. This is the mobile edge premium back pack. And you know what I love about this first of all is just look at this back padding.
Tiffany Young: That is nice.
Ben Freedman: Look how thick, doesn’t that feel nice and cookie and thick? Really nice back padding and then there’s no paddy here which allows ventilation you know this part presses against your back and this part doesn’t so you have ventilation.
Tiffany Young: I really think this would be a good back pack in bag I mean this reminds me the one I’ve seen at RAI that you can you know in hike or take a trail—
Ben Freedman: Yeah that’s true too and it has a cellphone pocket which I always like when they have the cellphone pocket on the front.
Tiffany Young: Right.
Ben Freedman: And it has this kind of a pretty neat closing system for extra security rather than in just zipping close, there’s also this fluff that comes over the front and zips but it still gives you access to this pocket here which is great for our tickets, airline tickets just go right in there very, very easily.
Tiffany Young: But you have to take your bag off—
Ben Freedman: No—why you think bag off but you don’t have to take that, you don’t open the bag.
Tiffany Young: Okay.
Ben Freedman: You just stick you hand in there.
Tiffany Young: Or you got this in right here for the same thing.
Ben Freedman: This is a pretty big pocket with other stuff in there.
Tiffany Young: That you can actually get things like you know thieved.
Ben Freedman: Yeah I wouldn’t put anything high security in those there. The only nice thing about it is if you notice right here as a whole on the back, is that a hole?
Tiffany Young: Yeah. What’s that for?
Ben Freedman: Well I’m telling you, if you got a CD player or an iPod, there’s a panel shift for your CD player and it goes in there and then the headphones goes through that hole. Now the only thing that would worry me is if you try to take the bag off before you take the headphones off you might strangle yourself.
Tiffany Young: That just be funny. At least you have CD entertainment, you know.
Ben Freedman: I guess that would be very, very one thing. But I like the size of this, you know it’s not too big and it’s not too small. I’ve got seen back packs that are huge and other ones you can’t get anything else.
Tiffany Young: I say this bag would be I mean this bag is certainly very comfortable. I would say perfect for hiking and—it’s very versatile you can do a lot with it. You have a lot of options.
Ben Freedman: Right.
Tiffany Young: It’s a nice bag. Nice quality, high quality.
Ben Freedman: So that is—it looks pretty cool. So do you think? You want to steal this handle as well I mean since you’re in a handle feeling mode?
Tiffany Young: Because you totally feel the other one, just giving you my opinion.
Ben Freedman: Okay.
Tiffany Young: All three of these bags are very high quality I think.
Ben Freedman: Right. So that is, that was the mobile edge premium bag, very reasonable price $89.00.
Tiffany Young: I would say, what was that price of that—
Ben Freedman: The mega media bag with the pockets and all that stuff that’s $160.00.
Tiffany Young: Thirty-six pockets. $160.00 okay and the—
Ben Freedman: The MR ties the price divided you know the $160.00 divided by the 36-pocket, your price per pocket is very low.
Tiffany Young: only you can come up with that. Let’s get your calculator. So I would say that all of the three bags, you know they’re all very good bags. You know for different purposes, it looks naughty.
Ben Freedman: Different purposes and that’s what you have out. You have to have a bag for every purpose, won’t you agree? If you got the SLAPPA bulkhead which us the great four way one for going flying, you got the mega media bag, great over the shoulder bag.
Tiffany Young: I would loose my cellphone in that bag.
Ben Freedman: I’ll stick you in one of those, pockets.
Tiffany Young: I know, I think maybe 36 times to find myself.
Ben Freedman: And then you got the mobile edge premium bag which I really like if you’re wearing clothes that are conducive to back pack usage.
Tiffany Young: Exactly.
Ben Freedman: And that’s all the time we have for in you find that TV today, but if you have to have an extra 30 seconds, take a look at this.
