Hi! I’m Aisha with Picture Perfect Make-up. And I am going to show you how to organize your make-up at home. Once you’ve organize all of your make-up collection and you decided what you do want to keep. One thing that you might want to do is try to organize your make-up in a way that is easily accessible. I suppose to having just jumbled piles inside of drawers. One told that I like to use is actually a silver wear organizer and this is something that people don’t think of using because it’s in the kitchen section. But it is actually fabulous for organizing your make-up. You’ve got your compartments where you can divide your make-up into lip products, things for you eyes, your skin care and then pencils. This is great for setting on top of your vanity.
When you have your brushes there is a couple of different ways that you can store them. What I like to do is set them into a cup so they’re easily accessible and open and you can see what you’re working with. If you like to trouble, what some people will do at that point is put them into a case that actually holds their brushes. And this is nice because it kind of keeps them nice and organize and ready for use when you need them. Now, one thing I didn’t want to talk about is make-up that is broken or maybe is missing some of its packaging. And a great thing that you can do is actually put them into a palate and this how that works. Let say you have a piece of make-up that is crack or the mirror is broken or for example lipstick that it doesn’t have a top. Most people don’t know this but you can actually pop that pen out of the packaging and put it into a magnetic palate and that’s what I’ve done here.
I had some eye shadows and blushes that had broken and that had some cracks in there containers. So, what I use was a butter knife and I pop out the pens and I’ve created a really pretty palate here with some of my other items. This is great because this way you can salvage some of your make-up items that you wouldn’t throw away otherwise. You can just put them into a palate, close it and you can store it right here in your desk, in your vanity top organizer or if your have one that actually has holes in it you can put it right into your trouble palate with your brushes.
Now, this like I said it doesn’t only work for shadows and blushes but it can also work for lipsticks. And this is a huge problem for a lot of women, because when you look at your make-up collection there will and it will be some lipsticks that you loss the top too like me. Or there are some that you just love and you’re down to the very 2:52 of your lipstick or its broken or any other reason. That doesn’t mean you have to throw it away, what you can do is take your lipstick and again use the butter knife and slice off some of the color or if your down to the bottom you can actually dig in there because there is more lipstick inside. And then you can buy an empty palate and this one that I’ve already done, but you can buy an empty palate and then with that knife go ahead and just put your lipstick into that little well. Pick out colors that you like fill out all the wells and you can either microwave it or use a blow dry to heat it so all of your colors will melt down into your own customize palate.
So, whether your using vanity top organizer, a trouble bag or creating your own palate. There is a lots of ways that you can organize your make-up at home for easy use.
