Hello YouTube! How’s everybody doing today? Marco here from Gadget Experts. So finally, we have this Otterbox Defender Series review. No, I hope you guys had a nice 4th of July weekend, I know I do.
So this case is meant for–if you’re going hiking or if you’re in the construction business. Now, this is made for the iPod Touch plus the iPhone and it is made for several other iPods. Now, I’m going to take this–I had this case on right now. Now, I’m just going to go through–is on the case and how it could protection this.
Now the protection of this case is killer. I mean this case, you know I’m not afraid to drop it which I’ll drop it right now from about arm’s length [Demonstration], nothing happens. See the iPod is still working, bam-bam. This is case like very, very protective.
Now, it is a three-piece case. Now on the first you know, where you’re holding, it is a tough silicon guys. This silicon is thick, it’s very you know, it’s kind of lent magnet but it’s not as much. Now on the bottom of it, it has the little thing but it protects your dock and your headphone jack. Now let me just take this silicon off here.
Now you see guys, this is a thick silicon, not easy to–it’s neither up any time soon. And also those have hole for a sensor so that is also nice. Now here, you have the two-piece plastic outer shell. Now this is very nice and it also has a window for your Apple logo guys.
Now, I like to show you my Apple logo, so I love that edition. So it is like one of those wacky things when you have to kind of jam your fingernail in there and take out the little plastic part which I’m doing right now. I hope I can give this off the camera. There we go. I think I got it. So we put this aside for now.
Here is the face plate, guys. Now, it has a plastic shield, it’s a screen shield. Now a lot of people have been getting watermarks and actually, you’d supposed to get watermarks but there a lot of remedies there guys. First remedy, I know is you can rub the palm of your hand or–sorry by hand, looks kind of you know really bright because of the light up there or you can–your cheek. And there is one remedy but you take baby powder here. You kind of close the bottle, shake it up and then pump it one little bit and–there were on the screen and there will not be any watermarks guys. But in the protection of this case, this case is awesome. I mean you can–this is from–it gets a little wet, nothing happen, you know it gets you drop, nothing is going to happen your iPhone, iPod or whatever you have guys.
Now, take the iPod out and put this aside. And also, it has a little window, you know, well for plastic screen for your Apple logo guys. Now, this case is very good guys. Now this case will runs you about $25 to $35 I think. Some around that line and I like to get a big thanks to Otterbox, especially Jay for sending me this product for review. As in protection, I give it a 10. And you know style–I mean, it’s good because I mean I like the black. But as in you know–if you want to protect your iPod, you don’t want to–you know just give a way a little bit of bulk, then this is perfect for you guys. I mean, it does even add much bulk, I thought about how big it is. So I’ll just take out–sorry guys, I said it wrong. Take up the iPod, it’s like maybe one-quarter or more I think or–I don’t know, it doesn’t look double but it might be. But you know, in this case it’s very, very nice. Otterbox always you know, good all fit elements, very good in protection. Otterbox have done in an outstanding hob in making this case.
