So here is our 4-Bolt Stem, and these are M5, 5 millimeter bolts. And they take a 4mm hex key. These ones happen to be titanium. So you really want to have the Ti-Prep type of grease on it. An anti-seize compound that's sort of like grease but it's ground up copper in it, and I want to make sure it doesn't seize in there, galling or cold-welding is what these bolts can do, because titanium is really stretchable.
You really want to be careful that they are at the same torque, and if you do it by hand, then you want to choke up on the wrench first of all, so you don't over tighten them, and always go crosswise, so you go from this one, to this one, to this one, to this one.
And if you have a torque wrench then you look up the torque spec, and you can go on that. This particular stem, it's a data Newton, and that torque spec listed is 9 Newton-meters, which is really high for a bolt that are small. I would try 5, okay. So it's worth checking to see whether this bar is really tight, which it is. So I am just going to double check, because sometimes -- once they all, the whole thing, 4-Bolt spread is tight, and maybe in another corner turns out to be loose again. That's it.
