Shalom!
I am going to try and do a little practice of the Hebrew vocabulary and reading with you, the blessings of the Torah Elijah. Now, you can watch my video Torah Elijah 101 to see the whole procedure. But these are some of the keywords. So, it begins with “Barukh atah Adonai Eloheinu, melekh ha’olam.” This word is Berakhot HaTorah. Berakhot, the blessings of HaTorah, of the Torah. So you should all memorize “Barukh atah Adonai Eloheinu, melekh ha’olam.”, that is the beginning of our blessings.
All right, then you get “Asher bachar banu”, who-bachar, shows-banu, us-asher. “mikkol ha’amim.” This is mikkol, ha’amim. Hebrew goes this way, mikkol, ha’amim, from among the nations, “venatan lanu”, venata-gave, lanu-us, “venetan lanu.” “Et torato”, Et Torato-his Torah. And that includes “Barukh atah Adonai notein ha’Torah.” Okay, that is the blessing before.
Now, the blessing after. “Barukh atah Adonai Eloheinu, melekh ha’olam” again, “asher natan lanu”, who gave us what, “torat emet”, the true Torah. Torat emet, the Torah of truth. “vechaiyei olam”, He turn the life. “nata’ betokeinu”, and planted in our midst, nata’ betokeinu. “Barukh atah Adonai notein hatorah”, gave us the Torah.
Okay, that was our—just a little Hebrew vocabulary you need to until you get it. How to read and how to understand, or do a series of these to help.
