Chad Burge: Hey, what's up? This is Chad Burge.
Kody Haynes: This is Kody Haynes.
Chad Burge: And I have got a new camera. Shooting in 16:9 wide Letter Box, we have got a lot of room to do with here, so that is pretty cool. We are here -- you will tell me review, everything whatever technology, it does not matter. So the only thing I had in mind was DS Lite versus PSP. I have already done a DS Lite review once, for it's crappy quality, so I decided to do it again.
We start off, we have a DS Lite here, it is pretty. This one came from Japan. I got it like two weeks before release. It is really bright, super light weight. It's a nice form factor. It is a little bit of a finger print manic but it is not bad because it is white. Over all looks pretty good. The game play is fun. The touch screen is good. It has Wi-Fi, you can play versus each other online, Mario Card and things like that and that works out pretty cool.
And we have got a PSP, that is tons of fun. You want to talk about it?
Kody Haynes: I like it because it is simple, it is really sleek and what I like about it the most is you can change the background. You can pretty much design whatever you want. Like here it has got red blaze designed by him himself. You can actually play your own music, your own videos, you can put anything you want to hear. You can actually get on the Internet with this thing which I think is really cool and your own photos, it tell you everything you need to know about it. System settings, battery, life power, time on it, date settings that you can do on the DS 2.
One of downfalls I notice about the PSP is that it chips really easy, scratches really easy and if you do not have the screen protector you are pretty much screwed.
Chad Burge: Yes. I use a PSP mainly for when I am on planes and I feel like busting out my laptop, I use it to watch movies, which is pretty cool. I mean, it is fun, I guess. I do not really play games that much, Grand Theft Auto is pretty fun. Another cool thing I am going to try testing out is streaming videos to it from my PS3. So I do not know, that is really pretty cool, the stream videos to hear from my PS3. I do not know how well that works or anything but it is a fingerprint magnet and I hate that.
Kedy Haynes: Yes definitely.
Chad Burge: I hate that. Sony makes everything that has fingerprints, PS3, fingerprints are terrible on it and I just do not understand why they cannot do something non fingerprint.
Kedy Haynes: Another thing I like about this is, it is a $200 system. It is tiny as I hold. They have got all of this great work put into it and the memory card is held on by a piece of plastic.
Chad Burge: And it only comes with a 32 megabyte stick.
Kedy Haynes: And which holds like three songs. There is nothing fantastic, but the battery life power is kind of slow too and it -- slowly dwindles by the charge.
Chad Burge: To be honest with you lately I have been using my DS Lite for nothing other then an alarm clock. It has a good alarm clock feature on it, so I do not know, that is why I use it for unless I am camping or something that is the the only time when I play and I will play Mario or Mario Card, that is it.
Kedy Haynes: Speaking of the video games, what do you think about the PSP video games versus the DS video games? Because it seems to me that the DS video games are geared more towards family oriented games and PSP is more like the original PS 2 title just redone on a smaller screen.
Chad Burge: Well it is the same thing with the Wii and the PS 3. The Nintendo they are going for things that are fun and things like that and they are not going for anything serious. About the PSP has like Ridge Racer, that's fun, the Grand Theft Auto that is fun. It is more of an adult higher teenager to adult crowd. With anything Nintendo it is more about kids, more about family, which is fun. I mean it is not -- they do not have to be serious all the time.
Kedy Haynes: There is nothing bad about that.
Chad Burge: Yes, they do not have to be serious all the time. They are killing with Wii, the Wii is awesome. I love the Wii.
Kedy Haynes: It really is and I like to get one again.
Chad Burge: And people make fun of it all time because they are like, oh, it is not serious, you cannot blow people's head off and I am like well that's not what it is all about.
Kedy Haynes: It is about game play with the Wii.
Chad Burge: About having fun. But, that's about it. We wanted to do a little review and--
Kody Haynes: Thank you guys for listening.
Chad Burge: Thank you and I hope you all enjoyed the new camera. Sorry about the crappy audio. We are going to try to get a better microphone in. I will be doing a lot a more updates soon especially from Macworld in San Francisco. I will be putting up a lot of shit there. Thank you, thank you for all your comments. Thank you for subscribing to me, thank you for favoring me. It really feels good, I love it and it makes me to want to push out better content. That is the reason why I got a better camera. This is the reason I will get a better microphone, I really appreciate it. Alright guys, see you later.
