In order to format the memory card and I highly recommend doing do after you’ve downloaded your pictures to the computer and make sure that they’re all on the computer before deleting or formatting the memory card.

What you should do, you can either be in the record mode or the playback mode, either one will work. Press the main menu button right here in the center. Go to the tools menu by pressing the left navigation button and down and then come in by pressing the right in which you want is the very last page so use your zoom lever right here to move to the left to choose page 5. Go down to format, press the right navigation button, go up to yes and press set.
