Welcome to a fishing knot instruction video from videofishingknots.com. In this video I will show you how to tie a Clinched Half Blood Knot and you start out by putting the line for the eye of the hook and pull the tag end so you something to work with and then you take the tag end and you put it through the eye of the hook a second time like that and then you will get a little loop down here by the eye of the hook. You can see that my index finger is going through that loop and now you take the tag end and you wrap it around the standing part five times, so that was one and two and three and four and five times.

And then you grab the tag end and you take the tag end you put it through the two loops down here by the eye of the hook like that and see that what we have two loops down here and you just take the tag end you put it through then you grab it and then you pull both the tag end and the standing part and this will form the knot and pull it tight and just by pulling the tag end and the standing part you will end up with a nice Clinched Half Blood Knot and all we need to do now is to trim the tag end and you are done.
