Hello again, I’m Rodney Reynolds from 3dGameMan.com. Please remember to support us at support3GM.com. Now, this next question is about installing fans really, how good our PCI slot fans and I also had a question here about—I’m thinking about changing the metal side panel, the left side panel for an Acrylic one and put one or two 120 millimeter fans with a PCI slot fan inside. It’s just a good idea, yeah it’s a great idea, it’s always good to have extra ventilation in the case. And a circulation is crucial for keeping everything nice and cool as long as of course you keep everything dust-free because a dust is clogging up the intake fans then it’s pointless so keep that in mind.
Now either keep your place speak and span and/or clean your house as well as your intake fans because I’ve seen so many cases just completely cluttered and clogged up with dust and it’s nice and funny, fans are actually stopping and burning up and everything because of dust. And also if you smoke, you know, you really got to be on keeping dust out of your case. So yes, it’s a good idea. I don’t know quite frankly if you need both, if you have one or two 120 millimeter fans blowing cool air from inside of the case onto the video cards and other hardware inside the case and you don’t really need to have a PCI slot fan. The PCI slot fan will just go in an expansion slot, a free one at the back of your case and it will blow warm air from the case out of the back of the case.
It’s a good idea but usually in most cases have at least an 80 or 90 or 120mm fan at the back exhausting warm air. And now if your—doesn’t then this probably would be a good idea but absolutely if you install all these fans, you have fantastic air circulation in your case of course. The other option is to upgrade your case and get a case that has all this so you won’t have to full around with installing it all. I hope this answers your question and keep your questions coming.
