Meditation is a principle part of Tai chi, so with your feet plant in, just like a trees roots feeling grounded and centered. Just relax and let your body move like a tree in the breeze, slowly moving side to side. Knowing that a stiff rigged tree does not accept external elements that well, a strong resilient tree that can move with the wind, the rain, and allow itself to be resilient and aware, and centered at all times is a lot more efficient for the body. So just, close your eyes, and breathe and feel the power that you have from your feet, all the way up to your ankles, your knees, your legs, your hips, pelvis up to the torso, out to the shoulders, arms, hands, and fingers. Just feel your branches as your arms, feel the roots as your legs and feet, and everything in between is just constantly in motion and resilient, just like the aspects of Tai chi.
Tai chi equals movement, movement through life, going through things, resolving, always changing, otherwise, life gets a little bit boring, so just let your body move and flow, and take this principle with you throughout your day, everyday, good, easing out. Excellent, hands on the thighs, just gently relax forward, gentle stretch out, rounding through, slowly up, relaxing your head and your arms, preparing you for bending there, feet is slightly apart, shoulder distance, breathing. See what happens when you let go here, releasing all tension even if you can only bend so far, relax and let your body trust gravity and eventually you will be able to go a little bit further. Good, so feel the release of tension, now, slowly rounding up for a count of five, one vertebrae at a time, four, three, easy, two, and one, inhale at the top, energy all through the body, exhaling down.
Excellent, slowly easing your way open to the left, lengthening out, slight bend to the knees, easy over, releasing all tension, head, neck, shoulders, arms, hands, fingers, lower back. Breathing slowly up, count to five, trust gravity, four, rounding-rounding three, two, neck and head, one, inhale at the top. Good, you can feel the clarity coming into your mind already. That is really going to help you through out the day, easing over to the other side. Lengthening out, relaxing over, slight bend of the knees, releasing all tension, head, neck, shoulders, arms, hands, fingers, lower back, breathing slowly up for five, really letting go here, four, trusting what the day has to offer, three, two, and one, inhale at the top, exhaling palms down.
Excellent, feet coming a little closer together, hands in the small of the back, just gently lifting the sternum up toward the sky, opening your heart to the events of the day, and breathing knowing that everything is as it should be, and slowly lifting back. Excellent, arms relax, centered into your both stance, traditional Tai chi closing, right fist into left open palm, right into the left, left into the right, opening out, arms easing down, gentle bow, stepping back on your left foot followed by the right.
Excellent job, go ahead and have a wonderful day. Thank you for joining me.
