While insurance for pets may be good, there are so many loopholes and exceptions. My company, Pet Assure isnt like that. We are a pet discount plan, not insurance. By going to one of the thousands of participating veterinarians you receive 25% off of your vet bill at time of service. This is for surgeries or well visits. There are no age restrictions, pre existing medical condition exclusions, and no claim forms. Your discount is applied to your bill at time of service. Its like having a never ending coupon. Contact us at www.petassure.com or 888-789-7387.

To add to my comment below, the second thing you must do is avoid any company who will not cover your pet for the duration of its illness. To explain, be aware that pet insurance does not have the same regulations as health insurance for humans. Unfortunately, in the eyes of the law, pets are still considered property so each policy renews as if they were a brand new policy every renewal period (usually each year). You are not guaranteed renewal unless it's given to you in writing by your insurance company. Some scammy insurance companies will take advantage of this loophole by either a) canceling your policy at your next renewal date, even if your pet has not fully recovered, or b) treat any conditions as "pre-existing conditions" after your renewal date and refuse to pay for them. Unfortunately this is all perfectly legal. Read your policy and avoid any companies who try to take advantage of this loophole. Again, you and your pet will thank me for this tip later.
