Phone Application Analyzes Golf Swing

Nick: Trying to figure out how to get rid of that slicer hook on the link, by the end of this year, Fujitsu, plans to offer a cellphone application that would analyze your golf swing, pinpoint problems and show you how to correct them.

Ying: Basically, it measures your body motion, when someone does golf swing and you could automatically measures your body motion transmitted to the 3D sensing engine and the engine kinda maps it with the 16 point check point and that determines if your motion is correct or not and yes and the criteria basically is to develop following this professional golfer Mr. Tadashi Asare. We based on his method kinda make this 16 point match point.

Nick: Called ETGA Golf Lesson, the application ranks each of your swings with a score from 1 to 100 and then will give you an overall score after you are done playing. It can also tell you exactly where in your swing any problems might be and offer you tips from an on screen golf coach to improve your technique. For example, when I tried it, some feedback that I got was that I needed to stand up straight if I hit the ball. The software was developed jointly by Fujitsu and another Japanese company Sensing Control Lab. The company kept secret what type of phony application was running on wrapping the phone in black plastic but the engineer said that the app will be on the Japanese market near the end of this year.
