Phone Application for Autism
Dr. Travis Stork: One of the biggest problem that children with autism have as well as many other developmental conditions is the inability to communicate, a lot of this communication devices that can cost thousands of dollars. We talked a little bit earlier about how expensive it can be. But we’ve actually one we’re going to show you it’s at fraction of the cost, it’s an iPhone app. It’s called -- and its latten for speak out loud and that was this application does.
So if a child can't exactly communicate with them, press them a pictures buttons the app does exactly that, it talks and it has a vocabulary more than 7,000 words. So for instance you can look at the picture, I need.
