George: I’m here at Snappy Snaps in London Bridge with the owner of the store Gautam Dhawan. Now as while as running this store he’s also an expert photographer, so perfect for as here at the Wedding Breakfast. Gunther, welcome to the show. First of all, your top tips for the perfect picture.
Gautam: I think you should just keep it natural, the more stage photography become, especially in a wedding environment, the more uncomfortable the bride and groom feel. You want things like, you want kids running around, you want natural expression. You wanna point out to the photographer who the important people are in your family. You know, grandma, grand dad, and less, less sort of that sitting in the church posing, let the, let the crowd go wild.
George: So if we don’t have the budget for a professional photographer, what would you recommend?
Gautam: I can speak about my own experience, living, working in the store we got people on our files like amateur photographers, professional photographers, high end, medium end. Speak to, speak to students, buy them the product like film, if they’re still working with film, but see their stuff first.
George: So on the big day, there must be a lot of pressure to capture that special moment. How do you do it?
Gautam: You have like, things like the best man’s speech or, you know, throwing of the bouquet and stuff like that. You have to tell the photographer, this is when it’s gonna happen, because the best picture is taken when, you know, it’s captured. If the bouquet is thrown, the photographer is taking someone in the path, it’s not gonna happen. And it’s not nice when it is staged all over again. So time it really well, and you’ll get good shots. You could do so much, I mean, huge format prints, you could do, you could do bedspreads now, cushions, depending on your taste and stuff. You know, you want a love nest, we can make you love nest. You want something classy, we can do something classy. Wedding invitations, thank you cards, we can design those for you be spoke. If you want particular text lighted on, taken out image of yourself, image of where you got engage, whatever works for you. Look at our new studio.
George: Wow. That is amazing.
Gautam: It’s all been set up especially for you, coz we’ll gonna take a pictures of you here. And how the wedding thing ties in here is…
George: I feel like Kate Moss.
Gautam: Well that’s the idea. So George did you have a nice time in our store in London Bridge?
