One problem many studio photographers run into at some point in their career, is face and that's usually given by how big your photo booth is. I am going to show you a very easy way to get around special issues.
Now, what we have here is a product image mannequin in a photo booth, but the seamless isn't quite big enough. As you can see here, we have the top of the ceiling here, above the seamless here, a little bit of the wall with the floor, couple of light batches in each corner. I am going to show you how to get it round and make the seamless a little bit bigger.
So what we are going to do is we are going to go over here to our Marquee Tool. Then we want to make sure that there is no feathering up here, make sure it's zero pixels and we are going to make a selection above the seamless edge and just a little bit below it.
Now you see it has added a little selection here. Now we are going to go to Edit and Free Transform. This will give you all these little points that you can grab on to and stretch. This is a pixel stretching method, but one thing I do want you to do is make sure that this selection is away from the rest of the image and so if you are going up, if you are going to be stretching this image up, you don't want to pressing down on the keyboard to detach this selection from the rest of the image.
Now you press down, you are going to want to just take this top little point and just pull up and then make sure, you hit the check box over here but you can still see that there is no light batch on this side.
Now we have taken away the ceiling. So what we are going to do, is basically the same thing on this side. Go all the way down here to the part we want to hide and I hit Ctrl+T and as such I am going to be pulling to the right. We are going to want to hit to the left one time and then I just stretch this over. Check box here and see that shrinks a little bit so we can work down at the bottom. Marquee is still selected, I will do the same thing down there. Hit Ctrl+T and hence since we are pulling down to the bottom, we are going to press Up once and then just click and drag this down.
Now you can see, we have made this little tiny photo booth into something that looks quite a bit bigger. Now it's hidden all the top parts and now you can finish going through and getting rid of all of the shading that light batches have left, we stretched out and we might have do a little dodging up in the corners and such, but it's very simple, quick easy method to give you more space.
